3M puts its money where its mouth is

This happend a while ago but I thought I’d write a blog post about it for the people that didn’t know.

In downtown vancouver 3M had the clever idea to make a glass box and fill it with money, everyone walking by had the oppurtinity to attempt to break it, using only their feet, and if they broke it they would walk away with the money inside.

The top bills were real $20 canadian bills but the once below are fake. In total the real money sums up to around $500.

Either way a good advertising strategy, getting potential customers involved in putting a product to the test but really if anyone were to actually break this glass I’m sure they would use something else other than their shoes.
